I told him I really dont think were all that compatible Yet he insistently insisted that I gave in to his wishes And me being all too nice and all not right in the head Gave in

like the herb Except there was no taste, just fear. It poured through my skin and drew Thyme in And like my new best friend I greeted him into My life, my family, my home, and my bedroom And greedily he consumed me without a second thought.

was lost around me

was lost within me Killing my mind and making me numb
I was lost in its warm arms
whose hands stroked my cheeks soothingly
